Game Plan: You will be doing research on Egypt via the Internet. I have located 6 Internet sites for you to gather information from. At each Internet site you will be answering questions on a different topic (subject). It is extremely important for you to follow all directions carefully.
Station #1 - Looking Through King Tuts
Tomb: 1. On what date were the stairs to King Tuts tomb uncovered? ______________ 2. What archaeologist is credited with the discovery of King Tuts tomb? ________ 3. Describe what you see in the antechamber at the end of the corridor. *4. Why were the objects in the Annex in such disarray? 5. In the Burial chamber section of the tomb, how many doors did Carter have to open inside the sarcophagus? _________ 6. Continuing further inside the sarcophagus, what amazing discovery was made about the third coffin? 7. What did the autopsy reveal about the death of the mummy king?

1. Your are going to be writing your name in Egyptian hieroglyphics You will be asked to carefully type your name "phonetically" in the dialog box. (example: Kevin = "ke-ven" or Deutsch = "doych" ) Neatly sketch out the hieroglyphic results below.
Station #3 - Ancient Women:
(read carefully) 1. Did Egyptian women have legal rights? __________ 2. Give an example to support your answer in #1. 3. What is the approximate literacy rate (ability to read and write) of women in Ancient Egypt? ________________ *4.
